Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Medical Microbiology within the Biomedical Sciences Section, UCD School of Medicine. This is a full-time position based at the UCD Health Sciences Centre, Belfield.
The appointment is available at Lecturer/Assistant Professor OR Associate Professor grade, subject to the qualifications and experience of the candidates. The post-holder will also develop and maintain a competitive programme of externally funded, basic and/or translational research activity in Medical Microbiology and infectious diseases, which is aligned with the School Research and synergises with current strengths in the Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research and other relevant UCD Research Institutes and Centres.
The post holder will supervise student research activities in both undergraduate and postgraduate research degree programmes (including PhD, MD and other postgraduate research degrees).

95 Associate Professor (7941) Salary Scale: €83,339 - €117,693 Per Annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
