Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within School of Physics.

This project aims to develop a next-generation long-range optical system using an electronically tuneable lens that was recently invented at UCD. It will utilize a combination of ray tracing simulations, mechanical design, and experimentation to develop a prototype technology featuring an integrated, electronically controllable lens.

Research Assistant: €32,962 - €36,856 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
