Richmond Business School is seeking to appoint a teaching focused Assistant/Associate Professor Faculty Education in Business Research. This is a part-time, 0.66 FTE position, with a proposed start date of 1st September 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality, innovative teaching and assessment materials at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels to a diverse student body across various degree programmes. Potential taught courses include: Applied Business Research, Data Analysis, Market Research Skills, Business Senior Project, and Postgraduate Research Project. There will be a requirement to contribute to the wider teaching needs of the school, in areas such as Marketing, Management, Accounting, Finance, and Economics.
The role also provides academic guidance and support to students undertaking research projects, organises and manages student research exhibitions and competitions, and engages in collaborative research projects with the wider business community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong professional experience in business research, business analysis, or market research. You will have a proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching in applied business research methodologies. Experience in organising research-related events and activities would be advantageous. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders in the business community.
