About the Role
Applications are invited for two Clinical Teaching Fellows in Physiology and Clinical Skills. These are career development posts at FY2/ST level to help teach the next generation of doctors. These posts are focused on active learning and practical application of physiology and clinical skills. You will receive training from a team of enthusiastic clinicians and teachers and as part of the post have opportunities for professional development. This may include opportunities to complete a postgraduate certificate in education or develop your own clinical skills and training within Barts NHS Trust, subject to availability.
The post is primarily based between Mile End and Whitechapel campuses in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment until 31st July 2026, with an expected start date in August 2025. The starting salary will be £49,909 per annum, subject to clinical experience.
About You
Applicants will have a keen interest in medical education and teaching. Applicants will be required to be registered with the GMC and to have completed the requisite clinical experience.
