About the role:
The Programme Manager (BSc Economics, Finance and Data Science) is an integral part of the team responsible for the successful management and delivery of the Business School’s flagship undergraduate programme, which launched in 2023.
For the right candidate, this new role represents an excellent opportunity to contribute to an exciting and growing area of the Business School, and to establish and develop the processes and initiatives which will support the programme’s success.
What you would be doing:
Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager (Undergraduate Suite), you will work closely with another Programme Manager and a Programme Coordinator to manage the day-to-day running of the BSc.
Your focus will primarily be on the final year of the programme, when students take elective modules; complete a final group project; and start finalising their plans for after graduation. You will support students as they transition into and through their final year, working with a dedicated Head of Year to identify students who may need additional support. You will provide faculty teaching on the programme with expert support to help them in delivering the high-quality teaching our students expect.
Our first cohort of students will be entering their final year of the programme in October 2025, so this is an exciting opportunity to help develop and establish the robust processes which will ensure we can continue to deliver the programme successfully for future generations of students.
What we are looking for:
Sharing our enthusiasm and ambition to deliver programmes of the highest quality, you will have proven experience of supporting a variety of stakeholders; independently managing a high-volume and demanding workload effectively; and responding flexibly to opportunities and challenges as they arise.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills are vital for this role, as is a strong customer focus and attention to detail. You will demonstrate exemplary administration and IT skills and have an interest in the use of technology in education.
You must be a strong team player with the proven ability to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision. You will need to demonstrate a pro-active, positive attitude and the ability to juggle several tasks confidently.
What we can offer you:
