What will you do?
As a Cyber Security Advisor, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analysing our security systems, leading the charge in incident response, and supporting our efforts to maintain industry-standard cybersecurity accreditations, such as Cyber Essentials and ISO/IEC 27001. You will represent the NIHR Coordinating Centre in cross-NIHR meetings, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure that our security measures stay ahead of emerging threats.

About our structure:
This role is working for our NIHR coordinating centre in Southampton. Your day-to-day role will be as a key member of the iSolutions Cyber security team with a specific focus on our NIHR contract. This will mean you will split your time with both our iSolutions team based at 1 Guildhall Square and NIHR staff based at Southampton Science Park. As part of this role, you will be the key link for our NIHR Centre both into the university and contributing to the work of the cyber security team as well as working with NIHR colleagues from other coordinating centre’s to drive forward the cyber security agenda within the NIHR.
