The University of Southampton is seeking to appoint a Head of Faculty Research & Enterprise Finance to support the long-term financial sustainability of the University through the delivery and ongoing development of its Research and Enterprise Strategy. You will lead and manage a specialist team which interfaces with the Faculties and External Research Funders to provide high quality costing and bid support delivering over £130M of research income and managing over 1,500 external grant applications per annum.
The University’s ambitious strategy to grow its research to £200m p.a. requires continual innovation and review of its procedures. As Head of Research & Enterprise Finance you will drive the effectiveness of internal procedures, working with senior colleagues to assess, adapt and innovate to align financial support with this ambition.
