The role

Are you ready for a career that empowers you to make a real impact? We are seeking a passionate and talented HR Business Partner (hybrid) to join our vibrant team at the University of Bristol. As a key player in our organisation, you'll provide top-notch HR business partnering service to managers at all levels and tackling a diverse range of people management challenges. Your expertise will be vital in finding innovative solutions, considering HR policy, employment legislation, and our unique organisational culture. You will also contribute to the development of HR processes in order to achieve the aims of the HR strategy and University Plan.

This is a fixed term position with funding until 30 November 2025. Hours of work are part-time (21 hours). We operate a hybrid working arrangement and you will be expected to work a minimum of 1 day a week on campus.

What will you be doing?

The role will be expected to partner with the leadership teams in their area.  Routine activities within the role will include supporting managers with employee relations cases from all stages of the employee lifecycle, workforce planning, analysing and interpreting HR MI data.
