We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Data Coordinator to support the efforts of two research groups led by Professor Adam Mead and Associate Professor Beth Psaila. The research groups study how blood cancers develop, aiming to develop new treatments that improve outcomes for patients.
You will be joining a team of Clinical Data Coordinators led by Stephen Ash, Clinical Data Lead within the Ludwig Cancer Research Institute Oxford. Working with a team of scientists and clinicians who are collecting data and biobanking samples from patients and healthy controls, you will support their research efforts by collecting and curating data, engineering, troubleshooting and analysis as well as the strategic planning of databases.
You will be educated to degree-level, or equivalent relevant experience. Expertise in designing and building databases in Electronic Data Capture software packages like REDCap is essential, together with demonstratable knowledge of the principles of working with confidential data.
The post is fixed-term until 31 December 2027, funded by Ludwig Cancer Research ‘Grand Challenge’ funding initiative.
