Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for social media? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact? Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford is seeking a Social Media Executive to join our dynamic Marketing Team.

The Marketing Team plays a crucial role in building and safeguarding the School's reputation. At the heart of this is our Social Media Team, responsible for showcasing faculty research, celebrating student and alumni success stories, promoting world-class programmes and supporting various departments with their social media needs. 

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, curating and managing engaging content across the School’s social media platforms. Your role will be instrumental in increasing brand awareness, engaging our diverse audience and supporting broader marketing and communication goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create, curate and schedule engaging social media content across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support their social media needs and amplify key messages.
  • Storyboard and work with designers to create compelling visual assets.
  • Work closely with the content team to produce engaging reels and videos.
  • Manage student social media takeovers and community engagement initiatives.

You will have a proven track record in creating and managing social media content for businesses or organisations, with expertise in video production, content planning and social strategy development. You should possess in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends and audience engagement tactics, along with the ability to analyse key performance metrics to drive growth. Strong writing and storytelling skills are essential, ensuring alignment with Oxford Saïd’s brand voice.
