We are a dynamic team with ambitious growth targets in a priority area of development for King’s. We proudly foster a supportive culture and community which prioritises both individual and collective wellbeing.
Employee support at King’s includes flexible working arrangements, paid maternity/shared parental leave, menopausal support, an active wellbeing programme, training and development opportunities and much more. All of our staff benefit from a generous pension contribution as well.

About the role
We are excited to be launching a new team within King’s Digital Student Support. The Student Engagement team has the mission of building online distance learners’ sense of belonging and community at King’s, leading to their positive student experience and academic success.
The new team will provide expertise and understanding of what engagement means for online distance learners, creating mechanisms to build a sense of belonging and community, bringing innovation and new approaches to the student experience.
The Engagement team will oversee all proactive communication to online distance learners from King’s Digital, ensuring timely, tailored and relevant student engagement.
The Student Engagement Advisor will, with the guidance of the Student Engagement Manager, support the curation and delivery of a programme of events, community building and communication and engagement initiatives. This will include organising online and in-person events, drafting communication, analysing and acting upon student feedback, and working closely with the broader Student Support and King’s Digital team.
Additionally, the role will involve considerable collaboration with other teams and stakeholders to ensure an excellent student experience, from welcome to graduation.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
Please note: Due to the high level of interest in this position, the job advert may close earlier than the specified deadline if we receive a large number of applications. We encourage early submission to avoid disappointment.
