About us
Our mission at Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum is to use our living collections to communicate to the widest possible audience how our future depends on plants. The Friends of Oxford Botanic Garden & Arboretum has around 3000 members, and their activities help to raise vital funds to support the work of Oxford University Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum.
About the role
You will have responsibility for managing the membership programmes, membership communications, and creating and coordinating events and activities. You will line manage an administrative officer who will support the logistical elements of the different membership schemes. You will expand the membership, maintain and improve all the membership materials and communications and work to implement an effective membership renewal programme.
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE).
About You
Educated to at least degree level, you will have substantial experience of working within a successful membership scheme or similar commercial venture. You will also hold event and line management experience, as well as a strong working knowledge of GDPR and Gift aid regulations.
