About us
Our mission at Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum is to use our living collections to communicate to the widest possible audience how our future depends on plants. The Friends of Oxford Botanic Garden & Arboretum has around 3000 members, and their activities help to raise vital funds to support the work of Oxford University Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum.
About the role
You will work under the FRIENDS and Patrons Membership Manager as well as with Officers of the Friends (members of its Board) and Garden and Arboretum staff to implement and develop procedures which will ensure the continued smooth running of the Friends and all its activities and the further expansion of the membership. The role covers membership, finance, communications and events. You will also be the first point of contact for Friends enquiries.
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 21.9 hours per week (0.6 FTE). This role forms part of a job share, with the successful candidate expected to work three weekdays in beautiful surroundings at Oxford Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum.
About You
You will have proven experience of managing and maintaining databases and managing information using a CRM platform. (Raiser’s Edge or similar donor management software preferred). You will have the ability to manage a portfolio of tasks using effective organisation and prioritisation skills, including good time-management skills and meeting competing deadlines.
