The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of interim Head of Occupational Therapy for a fixed term maternity cover post to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of pre-registration and degree apprentice programmes as we expand our occupational therapy provision at Roehampton.
Due to the fixed term nature of this post and desire for the successful candidate to have both extensive practice experience and higher education experience and leadership, we extend flexibility with regard those interested in full time or part time arrangements. Our priority is to provide an excellent opportunity for an individual with the right skill set and experience, to join our team at a significant time in the development of occupational therapy, with potential to really make a difference to our staff and student experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated and has experience in leading and delivering high-quality pre-registration and degree apprenticeship Occupational Therapy programmes. The successful candidate will lead the Occupational Therapy provision thriving in an environment where they work inter-professionally to provide an outstanding student academic experience. Leadership, passion, solution-focussed, and good communication skills are key qualities of interest.
