The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Business Operations Assistant to join our dynamic, collegiate, bustling team. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a significant impact, as we play a key role in supporting the University deliver on its ambitious strategy over the next 5 years.
This role is ideal for someone who can multi-task, is able to understand and act on multiple instructions, prioritize tasks and adjust workloads as required. They will also be required to use, maintain and manipulate spreadsheets and data on a regular basis and need to be highly skilled in the use of all MS Office programmes. The individual would need to be proactive as well as reactive in the fulfilment of their duties. The successful candidate will be collaborating internally with academic and administrative colleagues as well as across the university with different departments in the course of the discharge of their duties in supporting functions and providing the necessary assistance to the Operations Officer and the Deputy Academic Service Managers to ensure the smooth running of daily, weekly, monthly, termly and annual activities and special events.
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to answering student enquiries, assisting the programme administrators with data entry, working on weekly health and safety checks and finance related tasks.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in effective and efficient communication, using and manipulating MS Office programmes and a pleasant and pro active demeanour.
