The University of Roehampton’s Research Office is seeking to recruit a Research Finances Officer who will play a crucial role in providing high-quality financial management support for externally funded research and knowledge exchange projects.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual passionate about supporting cutting-edge research and innovation. The post-holder will work closely with the Research Finances Manager, academic staff, and other professional services departments to ensure effective and timely budgeting, reporting, and financial oversight of research grants and contracts. This role is integral to maintaining robust financial controls and compliance with funder regulations.
The right candidate will also have experience in supporting the development of externally funded research and knowledge exchange projects, working with project leads across all career stages to support the management of their projects, ensuring compliance with funders’ requirements and internal financial controls.
