An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Advisor to join our team.
Our Fitness Advisers provide professional advice to our customers who range from the elite performer to those recovering from injury or illness. Key duties of the role include staffing the Fitness Centre, providing friendly, professional advice and ensuring a safe environment at all times, whist also striving to achieve financial personal training targets.
Our in-house training and professional development programmes will provide practical, operational experience to add to your academic background.
You must have a Degree in Sports Science or Health/Fitness related subject; or be qualified to Level 3 or above; or have a relevant equivalent qualification.
In addition to the above, you’ll need experience of working in leisure/sports environment and good knowledge of health and fitness issues. You’ll also be a good communicator with a good working knowledge of lifestyle factors relating to health and excellent motivational skills.
The ability to work unsociable hours with a flexible attitude to working times is required.
This full-time post is available from 31 March 2025 on an indefinite basis.
