An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate to join the School of Education & Lifelong Learning and take a leading role in completing the development and validation of a new scale, designed to assess digital resilience in pre-teens from a socio-ecological perspective. A subsequent aim of the research will be to examine the hypothesised moderating role of digital resilience in the relationship between children’s exposure to online risks and their mental health. In addition, you will support an ongoing review of existing resilience scales using the COSMIN checklist. You will take a leading role in writing up this work for publication in high-impact academic journals and contribute to wider dissemination (e.g., with industry and third sector stakeholders) and follow on activities (e.g., bid writing).
This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available from 1 April 2025 on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2025.
