This is a cross institutional role based in the PVC Education and Experience Portfolio. At Leeds Trinity University social justice and equity are key to our mission. We are working to ensure that people can access opportunities which support them to success and help to alleviate the impact of disadvantage and inequity which might otherwise negatively impact on their potential. A key element of our Equity and Social Justice approach is through our Access and Participation Plan. We are seeking an Access and Participation Lead to oversee the strategic management of the Access and Participation Plan (APP) and its implementation.
Our current APP was approved in July 2023 and came into effect in September 2024. Our Access and Participation Lead will have institutional oversight of all aspects of activity and reporting linked to this plan. The A&P Lead will manage any variations required to the plan and develop further plans as requited. The A&P Lead will be responsible for working with our Impact and Evaluation Officer to ensure that all aspects of our work are evidence informed and evaluated in line with institutional and national policy requirements.
This role will support teams across the institution to understand and engage in the agenda to meet our strategic aims and regulatory requirements as defined within the APP. We are also seeking a fractional Access, Participation and Evaluation Coordinator who will report jointly into this role and the Impact and Evaluation Officer.
