We are looking for an experienced Head of Corporate Communications, with a proven track record of elevating institutional profiles and navigating complex reputational landscapes.
You will lead our corporate communications strategy, enhancing the University’s regional, national, and international standing. You will develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with the University's strategic plan. This involves leading the Corporate Communications team, providing expert counsel on reputation and crisis management, overseeing all corporate communications, and deputising for the Director. The role includes leading media engagement and PR; managing multi-channel internal staff communications including supporting the institution’s organisational culture and transformation priority and ensuring two-way internal engagement; promoting research; supporting alumni relations; and overseeing event communications.
Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills are essential, along with experience in working with large organisations with a range of stakeholders; media relations; digital platforms; and budget management.
This role will be located primarily at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
