About You
We are seeking an experienced and well-organised individual with a strong background in research grant financial administration. Your role will involve maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial terms and conditions, ensuring timely grant costings and financial reconciliations, and providing expert advice on funding structures and sponsor requirements.
In addition to pre- and post-award grant management, you will play a key role in overseeing Oxford Cancer’s financial operations, supporting budget planning and forecasting, monitoring income and expenditure, and managing financial reporting for core facilities. Strong communication skills will be essential as you will liaise closely with Research Services, Research Accounts, Departmental Finance Teams, and academics to ensure effective financial administration.
The ideal candidate will have extensive financial accounting experience, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload under pressure.
