Main duties and responsibilities
The School of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our team of professional staff. The Team Leader is required to supervise and mentor Departmental Administrators who are responsible for a range of functions that support the operational development of School-based business administration processes; this includes documenting, and where appropriate making changes to, processes and providing support to the Heads of Department and academic staff in the school.
Skills and experience required
You must have substantial proven administrative experience in a complex and dynamic organisation at an appropriate level including proven experience of monitoring and supervision. In addition to this, you must have proven experience of working with a wide range of people in a customer focused environment as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will need to be able to demonstrate flexibility towards team and workload requirements, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Familiarity with computerised systems are essential. You will also bring professional or specialist knowledge or experience to mentor school administrators on complex processes.
Qualifications required
You must be educated a minimum of a degree or equivalent, or proven experience.
