St Catherine’s College is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual to join its Academic Office as Visiting Students Officer, supporting our highly successful Visiting Students Programme; the largest in Oxford.

The working hours comprise 28 hours per week, to be worked over four or five days.

The salary is set within the range £27,645 – £29,959 pro rata.

This is a challenging and exciting position, working closely with the Director of Studies for Visiting Students to provide all administrative support required for the successful running of the Programme.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Programme Office and all aspects of administration of the Visiting Students Programme, including admissions, student enrolment and orientation, visa checking, reporting on delivered teaching, payments to tutors, and recording of grades, liaising with college departments and external organisations as appropriate.

With a keen eye for detail, the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will also be enthusiastic, friendly and able to provide a customer-focused service. Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.
