Do you care deeply about the provision of high quality student services? LSE Library is establishing a new role, Head of Student Library Experience, to join our leadership team and drive development of our services to students from undergraduates right through to postgraduate researchers.
The British Library of Political and Economic Science is the Library of LSE and provides one of the best social science collections in any university – supporting research and education at LSE as well as being open to the wider world.
The Head of Student Library Experience will drive innovation and service development across our student-oriented services, building strong partnerships with the student community and ensuring effective communication and engagement. Re-designing Library study spaces and ensuring that services and collections are integrated with these designs will be a key strategic leadership priority for the post holder as we work towards a major building refurbishment as part of the campus plan.
Candidates should have experience of developing and delivering high quality services for students, the ability to relate to a wide range of users from undergraduates to senior members of academic staff and the ability to respond to changing needs of Library users.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
