This is a fixed term, full time post (FTE 1.0) appointment for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal.
The LSE Faith Centre runs programmes and events promoting religious literacy and transformational interfaith leadership, supporting students to explore, challenge and question religious difference. Working with LSE’s diverse student body and wider publics, our core mission is to form leaders for a more peaceful global society. Religion and Global Society (RGS) an inter-departmental unit, hosted by the LSE Faith Centre, which conducts and promotes religion-related social science research at the LSE.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and professional Communication and Events Officer to assume primary responsibility for communications, digital engagement, and day-to-day running of our public and student-facing events.
Candidates should have experience in a communications role, including delivering communications plans, managing social media channels, editing webpages, producing digital content, and graphic design. They should have experience of events planning and management. A keen interest in interfaith work, and experience of working in a higher education environment, are both desirable.
