About the Role
We are seeking an experienced clinical skills technician to join the Institute of Health Sciences Education (IHSE) as our new Senior Technician. You will be a motivated and proactive individual responsible for the management of clinical teaching spaces, providing hands on support setting up and clearing away practical clinical skills teaching and assessment.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and will supervise the duties of the technical team, offering support and guidance as necessary. You will have the ability to solve problems, taking responsibility and thinking independently as well as exceptional organisational skills to prioritise diverse tasks without supervision to meet deadlines
About You
The successful candidate will have experience working in an education or hospital environment, in particular having experience of working with simulation equipment and have a strong disposition, able to handle lifelike simulated anatomical body parts and simulated bodily fluids. You understand health and safety matters and are able to work with potentially hazardous materials. You will be skilled at working under pressure against tight deadlines and with a wide range of people.
