External Engagement and Global
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
This new full – time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until the 31st of March 2026.
Compressed hours and flexible start and finish times are available, unfortunately this role will not be suitable for job share.
Summary of the role
The Global Development Advisor will be part of the Global Opportunities team and provide dedicated support to Professional Services, Faculty and external Partners on matters relating to Global Opportunities across a range of activities and programmes.
The post-holder will work both independently and collaboratively as part of the Global Development Advisors and wider team, to enhance the student experience across the full range of Global Opportunity activities. This includes supporting the Study Abroad programmes, imparting specialist knowledge, advice and guidance to stakeholders, engaging with Faculties, supporting grade conversion processes, using data to inform policy review and undertaking other activities related to Global Opportunities to support the achievement of University-level targets set by the Global Opportunities Senior Leadership Team.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and planning skills who is able to problem solve, work independently, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, and is adaptive to change in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience of university administration systems and processes.
