As part of an exciting new development, the Department of Psychology is working to develop new, online, provision. It is expected that this venture will initially include a new, BPS accredited, MSc Conversion course with further courses to follow.
This role will provide the initial development of this online provision, working to develop materials, create new courses and ensure that the provision meets the required standards. It will provide leadership and management for the programme, and work closely with external partners as well as staff and students.
The department of Psychology are looking to appoint a collaborative, inspiring and student-centred leader to manage the new online provision. Applications are invited for one post as Assistant or Associate Professor, dependent on experience.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate their passion for education, and be expected to have worked on the development of new programmes / taught provision They should be able to use their expertise to address challenges, showing an ability to innovate and work in partnership with others.
Applicants will have a first degree and a PhD in Psychology or closely related area. Successful applicants will have a strong teaching track record in the higher education sector, and evidence of producing and delivering research-based teaching.
All excellent candidates are welcome, although we are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of the online and/or distance provision
