We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and highly capable Senior Project Manager for the Mathematical Theory of Radiation Transport: Nuclear Technology Frontiers (MaThRad) £7.3M programme grant, funded by EPSRC.
This is a wide-ranging role with significant responsibility for delivering upon the aims of MaThRad on a day-to-day basis while maintaining alignment to the long-term vision to ensure project growth and impact.
The Senior Project Manager will have considerable autonomy and will be expected to show substantial personal initiative.
The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the MaThRad Principal Investigator and be a member of the Executive Team. The post-holder will oversee:
- Relationship management with a number of industrial, clinical and academic partners.
- Internal and external communications (including webpage management).
- Running of the PDRA training programme and internships.
- An extensive programme of meetings, workshops, incoming and outgoing visits, and collaborations.
- Supporting leveraged grant income including PhD sponsorships.
- Financial management of the global and local budgets at each site.
- The Senior Project Manager will have the support of a part-time events organiser based within the Department of Statistics.

About You
This is a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027, 1.0 FTE. Start date from 5th May 2025 or as soon as possible, to be agreed with the successful candidate.
