The University of Oxford is a stimulating work environment, which enjoys an international reputation as a world-class centre of excellence. Our research plays a key role in tackling many global challenges, from reducing our carbon emissions to developing vaccines during a pandemic.
Dedicated to expanding opportunity across continents, St Cross College is characterised by an intellectually vibrant and truly international community, with 122 countries represented amongst our alumni. One of Oxford’s youngest colleges, St Cross prides itself on its friendliness and interdisciplinary academic excellence across the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.
The postholder will be part of the Development Office, which exists to keep our alumni and friends connected to the College (and each other) and raise funds for St Cross. Indeed, philanthropy is essential in supporting the College in its mission. The postholder will play a pivotal role in raising funds for student financial support, the College’s buildings and endowment, and other causes. The money raised will make a significant impact, enhancing the opportunities we can provide for all St Cross members and building the College’s financial security for future generations.
