The role is integral to an EPSRC-funded project titled "ProSensing: Low-Power, High-Speed, Adaptable Processing-In-Sensing Capability" while working closely with Defence and Security Stakeholders.
As a successful candidate, you will become an integral part of the vibrant and collaborative Smart Sensing Lab. This team is at the forefront of developing tinyML technologies, maintaining strong connections with the tinyML foundation (tinyML.org) and various industrial partners.
We are seeking candidates with a doctoral degree and substantial experience in Persuasive and Edge Computing or related areas. Essential expertise includes embedded and sensing systems, tinyML, data science, AI and software development. Responsibilities encompass active involvement in the ProSensing project's development activities, such as AI on Edge tools, collaboration with project stakeholders, and engagement with the consortium and Defence and Security stakeholders.
Technical Requirements:
The selected applicant will undergo mandatory security checks conducted by the National Security Technology and Innovation Exchange. The contract for this post is contingent upon successful security clearance.
