NTU Psychology is seeking a fixed-term Impact Development Officer to support our ongoing work to ensure that our nationally and internationally recognised research leads to impact and knowledge exchange.
You will be an excellent communicator with a passion for translating academic research into forms that are accessible for external organisations. With knowledge of how to communicate research findings to non-academic audiences and of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) you will support our preparations for the next REF in relation to impact as well as support our work around knowledge exchange more broadly.
With experience in identifying opportunities for impact and working with external organisations to achieve this impact you will be able to work with academic colleagues to support their impact ambitions through scoping, planning and prioritising as well as tracking impact outcomes.
NTU Psychology is committed to diversity and welcomes applications from individuals who can enhance the diversity of our curricula. We welcome applications from under-represented groups and from people who are seeking a part-time contract. Appointments will always be made on merit.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly. To ensure the diverse needs of our team are met we actively encourage secondments and offer flexible part-time working patterns - we're focused on finding the right person for the role.
