About the Role
The purpose of this role is to develop a strategic practice and policy engagement plan, raise the profile of the work of the centre and represent the centre at key events.
About You
The ideal candidate will be able to:
1. Provide expert practice and policy advice to the HEEC management team on how to raise awareness of the existing and ongoing work across primary care professionals, Integrated Care Boards, NHS England and other key stakeholders.
2. Help to identify key future topics through discussion with practitioners and policy makers and horizon scanning
3. Undertake a stakeholder mapping exercise to identify key stakeholders and propose an engagement and dissemination plan.
4. Contribute to the strategic direction of the centre along with the HEEC management group and Strategic Leadership Group.
5. Represent the HEEC at key policy and practice events where appropriate
6. Review outputs where necessary to provide practice and policy expertise
7. Provide clinical advice and guidance to non-clinical researchers
8. Scope and explore potential long term funding opportunities.
9. The duties of the post outlined above are not exhaustive, and the postholder will be expected to be co-operative and flexible, undertaking such administrative and other duties as may from time to time be reasonably expected of a member of research grade staff in a university.
About the Department:
The Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG) has provided developmental support to over 136 practices in east London for 20 years. With a primary care database covering a GP registered population of over one million, our work covers quality improvement projects, service evaluation and health services research.
