This role is part of a team ensuring the development and management Library spaces and buildings to ensure and appropriate and safe learning and research environment for staff and students.
The role ensures the facilities and accommodation (staff and student / public space) are appropriate for the needs of the Library service and accessible in accordance with advertised service hours.
This role creates and champions positive Health & Safety culture, taking responsibility and ensuring good Health & Safety practice is adopted, with appropriate compliance throughout the Library service, facilities, and accommodation.
This role supports the Library Operations Senior Project Manager in terms of minor works and building projects, to ensure the needs of customers are considered during the planning of improvement projects, particularly where these have potential to cause disruption to the student experience.
