With sustainability at the heart of everything we do, we offer a range of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Join us to shape the future of education and empower students globally.

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Programme Officer (SPO) to provide high-quality administrative support for our taught campus-based programmes. In this role, you will ensure smooth programme delivery, working closely with academic and student support teams to create an exceptional student experience from enrolment to graduation.

You will be the central point of contact for students and academics, handling queries, maintaining accurate records, and resolving complex issues. Your responsibilities will include managing timetables, student data, and key communications with stakeholders, ensuring the efficient operation of our campus-based programmes.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to process improvements, and develop expertise in university regulations and best practices.

This is a full-time, indefinite contract role. King’s Business School follows a hybrid working policy, with a minimum of two days per week on campus.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven programme administration experience, ideally within Higher Education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting documents and virtual learning content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong numerical analysis skills, with attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, such as Microsoft 365 and student records systems (e.g., SITS).
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, capable of meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Experience in customer service, including resolving complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams and work independently with a proactive approach.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience using virtual learning environments.
  • Experience providing pastoral care to students and signposting relevant resources.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Commitment to fostering equality and diversity in the workplace.

How to Apply:

A brief cover letter will not be considered. If there is a strong field of candidates, we may use the Desirable Criteria to shortlist applicants, so please provide evidence where applicable.

Interview Process:

The interview will include assessment tasks and a panel interview. Details will be provided to shortlisted candidates. We aim to conduct interviews within 2–3 weeks of the application closing date.
