Applications are invited for a Stipendiary Lectureship in Economics (Quantitative and Micro) at St Hugh’s College, Oxford, tenable from 20 April to 20 December 2025. This is a fixed-term position (maternity cover) that may be suitable for someone who has recently completed or will shortly submit a PhD or DPhil and who is seeking teaching experience.
The appointee will contribute to the Economics teaching at St Hugh’s for these students and must be able to teach Quantitative Economics and Microeconomics to first- and second-year undergraduate students.
The basic stipend of the Lecturer will be £7,364–£8,137 (actual salary for the two terms), depending on experience. The Lecturer will have membership of the Senior Common Room (for which there is a small annual charge) and will be entitled to three free meals at the common table during weeks 0 to 9 of each term.
