The Civic HealthTech Innovation Zone (CHI-Zone) is being established to accelerate the growth of the health and life science sector, upskill residents and create jobs for the Liverpool City Region. As Communications Officer, you will produce engaging and informative communications in a range of formats targeted to diverse audiences and manage a programme of events - promoting engagement with CHI-Zone programmes that offer industry grants and technical support and effectively communicating associated outcomes.
You will be a key member of the Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL) team, with a passion for innovation in health and care, and report to the CHI-Zone Programme Manager. You will work closely with academics and with technical staff as well as with University communication colleagues, to support the development of leading-edge health and care technologies and promote the success of the organisations which develop them.
You will be responsible for developing CHI-Zone branding, marketing and communications and for coordinating workshops and events, working closely with programme and project teams to plan, develop and deliver communications and engagement activities. You will, also, build a network of cross-sector contacts to assist the team in promoting the CHI-Zone and develop bespoke communications and events tailored to the needs and interests of different groups.
The post is available from 1st April 2025 until 31st March 2029.
Interviews for this role will take place during the month of January 2025.
