The Civic HealthTech Innovation Zone (CHI-Zone) is being established to accelerate the growth of the health and life science sector, upskill residents and create jobs for the Liverpool City Region. As Programme Manager you will have primary responsibility for overseeing a complex, multimillion-pound portfolio of projects across six, themed strands of activity to develop leading-edge health and care technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, ensuring delivery to time and to target.
As a key member of the Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL) team, you will work under the direction of Dr Annemarie Naylor, and closely with colleagues from the University’s Research Support Office. Within the Team, you will line manage the CHI-Zone Communications Officer.
Your principal duties will include assuming overarching responsibility for Programme Management, including Risk and Financial Management; establishing and co-ordinating the activity of the CHI-Zone Programme Board and individual project steering groups, ensuring that the latter produce project plans in-line with best-practice; and monitoring/evaluating delivery of research collaborations involving >100 industry partners.
You should have a Degree and/or relevant professional experience and evidence of continuing commitment to personal and professional development.
The post is available from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2029.
