We are looking for an individual with excellent skills and the capability to support our core activities by helping us implement our School education strategy and joining us in growing the next generation of dental professionals. By leading and developing the teaching provision in Orthodontics, you will help evolve the School’s postgraduate programme development, ensuring a modern and integrated approach to the teaching of Orthodontics across our suite of postgraduate programmes. You will also contribute to undergraduate dentistry education.

You will have the opportunity, and be expected, to deliver high-quality research-led teaching at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. This exciting post will support staff to develop their leadership potential and their pursuit of excellence in teaching and scholarship activities relating to orthodontics, inspiring others to do the same and also to grow their research portfolio, aligned to the School's research areas.

The successful candidate will be awarded an appropriate honorary contract by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

The post holder will be based at the University Dental Hospital, Heath Park Campus, Cardiff.

Appointment is offered at Clinical Senior Lecturer, Reader or Chair level depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications aligning to the relevant benchmarks set by Cardiff University.

You will be able to take advantage of the excellent Consultant contract for Wales. The basic salary range for this post is £106,000 per annum to £154,760 per annum.
