We’re seeking a System Analyst to drive Technological Innovation in Higher Education

Ravensbourne University is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our IT services team and to support our Finance and HR applications (Agresso/Unit4 and iTrent).

The Role

  • System Development and Management - Play a key role in maintaining and improving our Finance and HR systems. This requires close collaboration with stakeholders and to stay up to date with trends and meet institutional objectives.
  • Data Management and Reporting – Support initiatives to ensure data quality, integrity and security within our HR and Finance systems. Your support will be crucial in reporting high quality data for operational decision making.
  • User Support & Training - Provide support for end-users to ensure service levels and operational efficiency, assisting in developing and delivering training programmes for staff, including user guides and orientation sessions.

The Candidate 

  • You have experience in systems analysis and development, preferably in a complex environment like higher education and preferably with experience in using HR and Finance related applications such as Agresso/Unit4 and/or iTrent.
  • We would also welcome anyone who has a strong experience working in Finance or HR business functions who is looking to broaden their systems skills in an IT setting.
  • To excel in this role, it is necessary to possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions, as well as to have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • We are looking for candidates with a Business Studies, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or related degree.
