Applications are invited for the above post which is suitable for candidates with experience of teaching a wide range of nutrition-related topics at higher education level.
The post is based within the Division of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics in the School of Biosciences. The School offers a three-year BSc degree in Nutrition, which has been accredited by the Association for Nutrition, and a BSc in Food Sciences and Nutrition. In addition, we also offer a MSc in Clinical Nutrition as well as a MSc in Nutritional Sciences.
The successful candidate will be expected to predominantly contribute to the teaching and related administration of several modules within the programmes associated with our Nutrition-related degrees.
Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent in Nutrition and it is desirable that they have a postgraduate qualification in teaching at HE level. Candidates must have significant experience in teaching and supervising students studying Nutrition at University level. Excellent English Language oral and written communication and presentation skills are also essential.
The post is offered on a part time (21.75 hours per week), fixed term contract until 30 September 2025.
