An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ARC Project Manager to work with the 5 Birmingham and Solihull (BSol) Universities and 6 participating NHS Trusts to ensure the required clinical placement capacity and experience for all their student nurses and midwives.
About the Role:
The post will be based at Birmingham City University and will work with the other 4 University providers of nursing and midwifery education and across the 5 local NHS Trusts in this area providing comprehensive project management to ensure a fair share allocation of students that provides them with an excellent clinical learning experience.
Main Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for re-designing and co-ordinating the overall fair share model to support fair and equitable student allocation across the organisations that are covered as part of the BSol Education Partnership Agreement.
The post holder will provide comprehensive project and change management for the fair share allocation of students across Birmingham and Solihull and identify areas for development within the Placement Management system (ARC) that relate directly to the effective allocation of students across BSol working with the ARC systems team to implement effectively.
Design and deliver a comprehensive training plan for internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance engagement with placement systems.

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so, and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
