We are looking to appoint an administrator to join our Post 16 team within Widening Participation and Outreach at the University of Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our recruitment and outreach work with 16-18 year olds and mature students at schools and colleges across the UK.

This role will involve you providing administrative assistance specifically in terms of supporting a range of events, database inputting and management, producing resources, evaluation, and assisting the team with general administrative duties, including finance and travel bookings. As part of a team of administrators you will also provide administrative support to the wider Widening Participation and Student Recruitment Outreach teams as required.

You will also contribute to the management and delivery of our Student Ambassador schemes, supporting the Widening Participation Outreach Team to both recruit current students and facilitate their work on our programmes and activities.

Along with your enthusiasm and experience in an administrative role, you will have strong organisational and communication skills. To effectively support our programmes, you will be able to evidence IT skills along with great attention to detail. You will be experienced in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to respond to queries and to confirm activities and bookings efficiently.

As part of the team, you will be invited to collaborate with colleagues on activities such as open days, summer schools; and contribute towards our collaborative working groups which focus on important topics such as equality, diversity, inclusivity, and the environment.

This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours per week). Arrangements for job share may be considered. Based at our King's Meadow Campus, the department supports hybrid working with arrangements agreed locally. In practice this means the team balances the working week with some time spent on campus and some time spent working from home to support flexibility, recognising that individuals and teams can be effective across different working environments.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Isaac Leafe at ISAAC.LEAFE@NOTTINGHAM.AC.UK. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
