Faculty / Directorate
The Leicester School of Pharmacy has an excellent reputation for the delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. As part of the continuing expansion of the School’s provision, we have recently validated our new MSci Pharmacy programme to be delivered at DMU’s collaborative partner in Uzbekistan, the Pharmaceutical Technical University (PTU) in Tashkent. The School invites applications from highly-motivated individuals to contribute to development and delivery of this course, other aspects of the School’s transnational education initiatives and undertake teaching and research in an area aligned to Pharmacy. You will join an enthusiastic team working in modern teaching and research facilities.

This role is full time and is based in Leicester, UK, but some overseas travel will be required. You will develop module content and undertake an academic quality role. You will be expected to make a full contribution to teaching and assessment at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and to undertake research in an area related to Pharmacy.
Ideal Candidate
You should have a degree in Pharmacy or a related subject and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science or a Pharmacy related field. You will have teaching experience, although that may not be in higher education specifically. Expertise in pharmaceutical sciences and / or a pharmacist qualification are both desirable for this role. We place high value on contributions to academic citizenship activity in the School.
