We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a patient engagement and involvement officer with a focus on cystic fibrosis as part of the newly funded CF Trust-LifeArc Translational Innovation Hub.
You will be required to support this exciting project, called CF-TRAILFINDER.
This hub, led by Liverpool, has the ultimate aim of translating cutting-edge science into benefit for people with cystic fibrosis.
You will have experience in public and patient involvement and will deliver the PPI strategy of the Hub, led by Professor Jo Fothergill. You will work alongside a friendly and enthusiastic group consisting of a project manager, clinicians, scientists, students and post docs. You will be expected to take responsibility for organising your work to meet targets and deadlines. You will also interact with various stakeholders and other hubs as part of a network.
You should have 3 GCSEs as Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and evidence of continuous professional development.
The post is available on a 0.5 FTE basis until 31 October 2029. We are looking for someone to start as close as possible to January/February 2025.
