INSTITUTE OF INFECTION, VETERINARY AND ECOLOGICAL SCIENCES
You will be required to support a busy laboratory-based group on the CF-TRAILFINDER project. This is an innovation hub, led by Liverpool, that has the ultimate aim of translating cutting-edge science into benefit for patients. You will have practical clinical or microbiological laboratory experience to support research on bacteria and phage led by Professor Jo Fothergill.
You will be instrumental in the safe and efficient operation of the group and contribute to the advancement of key projects. You will work alongside a friendly and enthusiastic group of students and Postdoctoral Researchers.
You will be expected to take responsibility for organising your work to meet targets and deadlines. You should have a BTEC Higher level (or equivalent) and have laboratory experience. Advanced knowledge of microbiology is essential.
The post is available on a part-time basis 17.5 hours per week until 31st October 2029. We are looking for someone to start as close as possible to January/February 2025.
