Lecturer in Health and Social Care

We have an amazing opportunity in our Health and Social Care team to teach our enthusiastic and motivated students and help them achieve their highest potential.

As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care you will:

  • Teach across Health & Social Care courses, including T-level Health
  • Provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all learners achieve their highest potential
  • Benefit from a supportive team of specialists.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.

You will have:

  • Degree in Health and Social Care or other related discipline
  • GCSE in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
  • Experience of working in the Health/Care sector
  • A PGCE or recognised full teaching qualification is desirable but not essential

Not yet qualified but interested in getting into teaching?

If you have not previously worked within the Education sector but have considered a career move, you may be eligible for the Department of Education - Taking Teaching Further initiative, which employs industry specialists direct into Further Education. You will receive an enhanced support package whilst you gain a Teaching Qualification. This opportunity can be discussed at the interview stage.
