- THE ROLE -
To lead and develop research and teaching within the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics in area of Financial Technology. The appointee will undertake research and knowledge transfer aligned to the university research strategy, specifically associated with the Centre of Financial and Regulatory Technology. The appointee will be expected to provide leadership in both research and teaching, complementing existing staff strengths and enhancing the research profile of Fintech in future REF exercises.
- ABOUT YOU -
- First or upper second class honours degree or higher degree in finance or a cognate discipline.
- Doctoral qualification in finance/fintech/regtech or related fields; or MSc in finance/fintech/regtech or related fields plus equivalent professional experience and/or standing.
- Strong and effective academic leadership within a university or professional environment, with recent and extensive experience of leadership and delivery of finance/fintech/regtech education or training programmes.
