We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant/Associate to contribute to/make a leading contribution to our project.
This three-year position is for a new research group member in the Karnik lab working on a BBSRC funded project to resolve CO2-sensitive vesicle trafficking mechanisms impacting plant growth responses to climate change.
The research aims to resolve multiprotein complexes and to develop in vivo and in vitro assays for the studies. The project draws upon cross disciplinary collaborations with Blatt laboratory for membrane biophysics and Neil Bulleid Integrated Protein Analysis (IPA) facility for proteomics studies at the University of Glasgow.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications to advance this cutting-edge and exciting project as opportunities allow.
This position is full time and funded for up to 36 months.
