About us
We are UCL: a diverse community with the freedom to challenge and think differently. From cancer research to climate change, dementia to social inequality, the world is facing huge challenges and we’re determined to solve them.
There has never been a more exciting time to join the Advancement office as we plan for our biggest ever fundraising and engagement campaign and support the delivery of the bicentennial programme in 2026. We are a team of exceptionally ambitious, creative and passionate individuals who work together to achieve remarkable things with a global impact, and we would love for you to be part of this exciting journey and our success.
Equity, diversity and inclusion is important to us. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to give their best in a place where their unique experiences, perspectives and skills are seen as valuable assets.
About the role
As the Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager you’ll play a crucial role in the delivery of UCL’s next philanthropic campaign. You’ll facilitate the engagement, management and celebration of our partnership working with key stakeholders, particularly within the internal community.
Working with colleagues at all levels across UCL Advancement, and the wider university, you’ll deliver activity that ensures we are strategic, coordinated and effective. This is a varied and cross-cutting role, with a combination of planning, project delivery and business as usual activity. You’ll have an opportunity to shape it within the growing Planning & Performance team.
We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata). This role is eligible for hybrid working.
To find out more, please contact Rhiannon Williams, Associate Director of Planning & Performance at: rhiannon.
Please use the ‘attach cover letter’ upload option to tell us how you meet the criteria in the person specification.

About you
You’ll enjoy playing an enabling role, joining up threads of conversations and finding solutions to complex problems. You understand the importance of strong relationship management and high-level administration, whilst being able to adopt project coordination principles in a nuanced and flexible way. You’ll have a curiosity for other teams to ensure collaborative and effective ways of working.
We are pleased to accept applications from individuals who possess transferable skills and experience drawn from sectors outside of Higher Education.
